Aircraft Cabin
Since August 2008, SilkAir has been rolling out a new aircraft cabin interior design. Previously, the cabin was decked out in cool blue interiors and following the change, our cabin design has now a very warm and welcoming feel to it, with seats dressed in warm brown and cream colours. Cabin seats are ergonomically designed with flexible headrests and in Business Class, seats are fitted in leather.

Customers onboard our flights get to enjoy a variety of sumptuous inflight meals with a focus on Asian offerings. In Business class, Singapore favourites such as 'Laksa' or 'Wanton noodles' are served on some of our routes. A wide selection of juices, soft drinks and cocktails are also available onboard our flight.

Onboard our flights, you can get hold of our award winning Silkwinds inflight magazine, which offers a diverse range of stories about exotic Asia, from destination guides, to quirky activities and experiences that can be found all around. Its unique stories and clever use of design elements has earned Silkwinds recognition in the publishing field. In 2010 and 2009, Silkwinds earned awards at the Annual Creativity Awards held in the US.

SilkAir offers a range of inflight amenities such as eyeshades, earplugs, blankets, pillows and baby bassinets for the comfort of our passengers. For young travelers travelling with us, our Cabin Crew will offer small games/toys available on the flight to keep the children entertained.

Silkwinds  

Silkwinds, our award-winning bimonthly inflight magazine, presents a different perspective on travel in that a destination is an experience and not just a place to visit. With exciting stories and stunning photography, Silkwinds keeps readers abreast of the best in Asia and explores the latest products, food trends, fashion, personalities and entertainment.

Whether you are travelling for business or pleasure, you have the option to relax, work or sleep in our Business Class cabin. With a focus on enhanced personal space and comfort, our luxurious and stylish leather-upholstered seats are fitted on all of our aircraft. Sit back and relax in the comfort of these ergonomically designed seats with 39 to 40 inches of seat pitch. The seat has been specially designed to optimist legroom, letting you stretch out and unwind in the comfort and privacy of a separate cabin.

Relax in one of our lounges before your flight and enjoy complimentary hot or cold snacks and refreshments. On board, enjoy delectable food, wine and personalized service from our award winning cabin crew who will take care of your every need throughout the flight.

Our multi-lingual crew will do their utmost to advise you on your onward connections, assist you with questions about your arrival, or answer queries you have about SilkAir and our destinations.

Start your journey with a complimentary welcome drink. When it is time to dine, savour local favourites like Hainanese Chicken rice and Laksa, as well as, a wide variety of Malay, Indian and Chinese dishes. To accompany your meal, sit back, relax and enjoy a glass of our specially-selected wines.
